Here's the gradient-shaded commission for Arashiin on FA of Ara, the epic storm dragon!

Ara was really fun to work on, was great wing practice, and also just reminded me of how much I love white dragons. The white gave me an opportunity to try out some different shading techniques mixed in with the gradients. He also has some subtle fuzz thrown in there with his highlights. ^^

Constructive criticism is welcome! Commissions in this style are still available as well.

Black and white are definitely colors that are easy to play around with and they don't catch the eye of a viewer as fast as bright colors would. Yet I do love the design you made on top of the dragons body, its the eye catching part.. Also great idea with making the wings black like you did with the whole top design of the dragon.

Your anatomy is great, nothing out of proportion.
And I love the little scarf definitely adds to this character. Gives the dragon a more friendly and approachable atmosphere so I hope thats what you were trying to get out of in this picture.
