Second gradient-shaded commission for Arashiin of FA of his dragon Ara again. :) We decided to go with a more serious flying pose since the first commission was more playful. So I decided to darken the background a bit to emphasize that Ara is in his element in the storm.

Ara is so pretty - he's a pleasure to draw. His colours and looks combined with those great wings are fun to work on. ^^ I think the wings turned out so nice on his piece! Especially the big primaries - I love the highlights. <3

Constructive criticism is welcome! Commissions are still available in this style as well. ^^

Hmm. . .The twist, though makes for a cool drawing angle, doesn't quite work for something that's flying, and the foremost back leg looks a little weird, but that is a very difficult angle to draw.
