Painted (Lineless, hooyah!) Bust Commission for Renoko over on FurAffinity of Renoko the dragon, looking positively wicked...

This guy here has an awesome design - I was asked to have him looking aggressive, and he already lends a very strong, tribal-looking design. I really wanted to convey a look of dread on the receiving end of his gaze, and I went wild on the facial and teeth detail, something I wanted to focus on. With his design, I based his snarl and lips particularly slightly off of that of bears, how they're very expressive with their front lips.

I agree: this guy's design IS gorgeous. What makes it beautiful is the level of detail you put into it: the shining blue dragon eyes, the lines around his body (tattoos?), and that smile... if smiling could kill, this fellow's body count would go all the way to the moon and back.

The creases and wrinkles at the upper neck look so real. It makes you believe the guy really is assuming the pose. His hair is also realistic: I can clearly see each individual strand. I'm almost expecting the character to speak as he breathes in and out, to watch as his diaphragm expands and contracts with every second.

Needless to say, you're a god when it comes to creating this kind of art. Don't let anybody else tell you otherwise.
