I wanted to wait a day or so to start uploading these guys - we're already on the downhill now, man. This series has gone too fast.

I'll start spreading it out over a few days. *shrugs* I want it to have some sense of climax during that time for the next few really epic dragons...

This is my favourite dragon - hands down. She's so pretty. If I was a dragon, I'd want to be like that one. *points up*

With all the sparkly antennae and the many wings and the headlight eyes and the pointy fingers and the frills and the wavy tail and ahhh...

That, and you get to be the hottest object in the night sky. o3o I mean, seriously, all the dude dragons out there in space whistle when they orbit past her.

That...and blue giant stars are the hottest kinds of stars there are. *raises eyebrows* That's why they burn either blue or whitish blue, (though white giants are different...is that a '2011' series possibility?! :0 ) The most readily visible blue giant is Rigel, which lingers around Orion. It's the brightest star in the sky during that time in Earth's rotation where you can see the constellation Orion.

Blue giants are also about 60,000 times the brightness of our sun, and they get about 30,000-50,000 degrees Kelvin. They're also significantly larger than our sun - bringing 10-50 solar masses to the yard while our little neighbor brings in one. While they burn slower than most stars, Red Giants, ( ,) can become Blue Giants if they start burning slower and they can actually shrink to become Pulsars. Most fluctuate between Red Giants and Blue Giants when they get older and their winds increase, but most recorded supernova explosions come from Red Giants.
