The wicked army surged around them, just barely kept back by the surging flames controlled by Wolf's staff and his mate's blades at the ready. The strong winds pushed the flames back, throwing sparks into their vision, and the two warriors glanced over their shoulders, making eye contact...
'Let's do this!'

Ridiculously /epic/ commission done for BadWolfPuppy of FA - check this beast out! This is probably the most detailed piece I've ever done - ever, and to this scale and style, also. Done in one sitting, as you know I always do.

In short, Wolf MorningStar and his mate Malta are battling off a samurai army of German shepherds and dobermans. The army is being kept back by the fire- and wind-storm that is generated by Wolf's magic staff, and Malta has his custom tanto blades at the ready. Both are in stylised army/ninja outfits.

But /man,/ the effects! The poses! The fur details! Everything excluding the fire was done entirely by hand, and all hand-detailed, coloured, etc. (I started doing the fire by hand but started going crazy shortly thereafter.

) And the samurai warriors are also all done by hand, each individual dude and his weapons/armour array - even the ones you can't see behind the fire and the characters, ha-ha! (The background also features a nighttime forest/mountain scene, though it got primarily darkened out with the fire/smoke effects. But it's there, akhwani, it's there...)

So yeah... I'm really proud of this. XD Also considering that I /never/ draw canids of any kind other than for commissions/occassional practice. And those lighting details. Just those lighting details. You guys know how much I love and rock those.
