Tutorial - Basic Dragon Anatomy by TwilightSaint Tutorial - Basic Dragon Anatomy by TwilightSaint
~~~
Full-sized file can be seen here: [link]
Small dragon anatomy guide sponsored by Imafliggingninja of FA. I just wanted to touch really quickly on the basic anatomy parts of the dragon, and I might make a serious-serious tutorial later on, as well as some 'detail' tutorials like dragon heads/jaws, wings, etc, (I already did a dragon feet tutorial, though I should probably update it.)
Just showing some basic muscle groups and shapes. I hope this helps. ^^ If anyone has any questions on anything specific, let me know. I am by no means an expert on animal anatomy, but I'll answer any and all questions to the best of my ability.
Animal references from: [link] [link] and [link]
Thanks Ninja!
I've been looking for something like this, thank you very much for posting!! The wing section is especially helpful for me, though I would love to see more about foreshortening wings! :3
Glad it helps! :D. I'd love to do a big wing tutorial, but I just haven't had the time yet. :0
